The La Liga campaign is coming to a close. There are just six gameweeks remaining in the Spanish league, and although Barcelona are almost certain to win the title this year, Ernesto Valverde's side are fighting to lift the trophy as early as possible.
The Catalan side have a Copa del Rey final to play on Saturday, against fierce competitors Sevilla, which they will be desperate to win after their Champions League failure crushed their hopes of a treble.
If Barca win against Celta they will move ever closer to the title, and to a legendary unbeaten record for the season.
However Celta Vigo are no pushovers, proved by the fact that the last two times Barcelona travelled to the Balaidos stadium they left without a point. With an unbeaten season within reach, Barca will be desperate to not let history repeat itself, and for this they will need their best players firing on all cylinders.
It is for this reason that there are fears over Leo Messi. Barca's key man is still battling with niggles, as reported by 'Sport', and could miss the trip to Celta.
Furthermore, Valverde has revealed that he may rest the forward for the clash. However, Barca, who enjoy an 11 point lead over Atletico Madrid, could leave everything set for a title win on April 29, when they face Deportivo, if they pick up all three points on Tuesday.
The big question mark is over whether Messi will risk it against Celta, or if he will take a rest ahead of the Copa del Rey final. Only time will tell.
