Reports in Spain had heavily linked Verratti with a big-money move to the Nou Camp last year, but the midfielder decided against trying to force through the switch, choosing to stay at PSG instead.
The 25-year-old was rewarded for his patience with a Ligue 1 title at the weekend, which could turn into a League-Cup double if PSG negotiate Caen in the semi-final and either one of Les Herbiers and Chambly in the final.
He told 'Canal+': "I'm very happy with the choice I made and I'm all the more convinced of that now.
"I really want to stay here. I feel very good here and I want to win, which is what everyone expects".
Verratti has made 38 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing seven assists.
