The governing body has fined PSG €43,000 and ordered them to close the Auteuil stand at Parc des Princes for their next European match, which will be the following season after their elimination from the Champions League at the hands of Real Madrid.
The disciplinary decision comes after the Ligue 1 club experienced troubles during that second leg against Madrid on March 6 in which various fans ended up getting arrested before, during and after the 2-1 defeat.
Numerous flares were lit in that particular stand causing smoke to fill out the stadium and impede players' vision, especially during the early moments of the second half, and as a result have been charged with four offenses.
With PSG running away with the Ligue 1 title, they will undoubtedly qualify for the Champions League next season so the ban will likely take place in their first group-stage match in September.
Marseille have also been disciplined by UEFA after violence marred their Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Athletic Bilbao and have been banned from taking their supporters to their next away game on the continent.
