Winger Denis Cheryshev is in line for his first appearance for the national side since 2015 after returning to training but they will be without big-names Viktor Vasin, Artem Dzyuba and Aleksandr Kokorin.
Brazil:
The 'Selecao' will be missing their talisman Neymar as he continues his recovery from a foot injury while Real Sociedad striker Willian Jose could be handed his debut after receiving his first international call-up.
Russia head coach Stanislav Cherchesov:
"The way things are going, we are losing a key player to injury every month. Now our job is to end all the moaning about our losses and have excellent preparations for the World Cup."
