Everton: Idrissa Gueye could return to the starting lineup after he began training once again after missing the loss to Manchester City with a muscle problem. Defender Ashley Williams is back from suspension, but Eliaquim Mangala (knee), James McCarthy (broken leg), Mason Holgate (ankle), Maarten Stekelenburg (groin) and Gylfi Sigurdsson (knee) remain sidelined.
Liverpool: In-form forward Mohamed Salah will be given until the 11th hour to prove his fitness after suffering what appeared to be a groin injury in the win over Manchester City in the Champions League in midweek. Midfielder Emre Can remains a doubt with a back complaint, whilst Joel Matip (thigh), Adam Lallana (Hamstring), Joe Gomez (ankle) and Ragnar Klavan (groin) are all injured.
Everton boss Sam Allardyce:
"I have to say to my players we've got to do to Liverpool, what Liverpool did to [Manchester] Citybecause that's the sort of plan I've put together in the past.
"I think we tried to attack at Manchester City and before we knew it we were 2-0 down. We coped with it better in the second half but in the beginning they were just too good and we have to accept that, they are 16 points clear.
"We were very pleased when we got a draw at Anfield and the approach has to be nullifying their attacking options because they are exceptional.
"The goalscoring ability of Liverpool is their main strength and we have to snuff that out. Not just [Mohamed] Salah but all across the front three and midfield. If we are to win that's how we have to succeed and after that it's about if we can get a chance and put it in the back of the net."
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp:
"They (Everton) will be motivated on the highest level. They have a very good home record. They are a really good team and with Bolasie back, Walcott, Tosun in a good moment - they are altogether except Sigurdsson.
"That's a good football team and they are very experienced in defence. Each Evertonian thinks at Goodison they have an extra percentage of desire. We need to be ready for that, but it's a football game.
"In all of my derbies there's always been an overly-hard tackle. I hope we can go without that tomorrow. But we need to be ready for hard challenges, it's a derby."
