Bristol City: Goalkeeper Frank Fielding and defender Nathan Baker both face late fitness tests with groin and ankle problems respectively as Lee Johnson's side look to overturn their 2-1 first leg defeat.
Manchester City: Fabian Delph (knee) remains sidelined so Oleg Zinchenko should once again get the nod at left-back after impressing against Newcastle at the weekend. Captain Vincent Kompany (calf) is expected to miss out once again, whilst Gabriel Jesus (knee), Phil Foden (ankle) and Benjamin Mendy (knee) all remain unavailable. Bernardo Silva, Yaya Toure and Ilkay Gundogan are all expected to come into the side, as is cup goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.
The thoughts of Bristol City boss Lee Johnson:
"We have to score - we know that.
"We're at home so we want to impose ourselves. We have to play with content and character.
"I know that we'll have chances. We've got a good bench and I think it'll be nice and attacking."
The thoughts of Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola:
"Of course we are going to try to say 'the best team possible'. But to say Bernardo Silva, [Ilkay] Gundogan and [Eliaquim] Mangala are not able to play, that will not be fair.
"What I want to say is will we go there to try to win the game and go to the final. That is true."
