Ever since the 27-year-old revealed he has 'one big contract left' in him, various reports have linked Rose with a move away from Spurs.
The added comment of, 'time is running out and I do want to win trophies', further hinted that the defender may be ready for a new challenge away from North London.
After recently returning from a nine-month injury layoff, Rose revealed that he sought psychological help during his spell on the sidelines.
‘I have been through a whole load of emotions over the past nine months, not just the season,’ said Rose.
‘I have started seeing a psychologist to try and help me think positive, whenever I have the time to go and see them.
‘I think I have seen them now about four or five times and they have been a massive help for me.
‘I have started reading books to try and help keep me positive as well.
‘You know, this injury has been one of the most difficult periods of my life.'
