Paul Pogba provided an assist for Anthony Martial and then banged in a goal himself as United cruised to a confidence-boosting victory, and the Frenchman praised the whole team for their efforts: "We have a lot of good players, talented players, and we have to trust each other," he said.
"Romelu [Lukaku] is the best striker in the Premier League. We know his quality and in the end we saw the result," Pogba added, saying he believes in this side's chances of overhauling leaders Manchester City.
Asked if United were still in contention to lift the Premier League trophy in June, Pogba said: "The season is very long, of course. If I don't believe that, I stop playing. If I don't believe that we can still win the league, I stop, I leave my boots and I stop playing football."
The Red Devils are currently second on the table but runaway leaders City look unstoppable with an eight-point gap at the top. After a game that marked his own return as well as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's comeback from a serious knee injury, Pogba issued a message of hope for the Old Trafford faithful: "I'm a believer and we keep fighting."
