According to the 'Daily Mail', Manchester City have opened talks with the representatives of Gabriel Jesus over a new improved contract.
City are already in the process in offering new deals to Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva and want to reward Jesus for his impact since joining from Palmeiras for £27m in January 2017.
The Brazilian international has an impressive 12 goals in 15 starts and his stunning form has ensured he is one of the first names on manager Pep Guardiola's team sheet.
The 20-year-old has transformed himself into one of Guardiola's most important performers and exceeded expectations by the ease in which he has settled into the club and the Premier League.
City came out on top against Barcelona and Real Madrid when they signed him and he agreed a long-term contract when he joined, with a salary of around £70,000 per week.
His current deal doesn't run out until 2021 but the current Premier League leaders want to reward Jesus for the improvement he has made and increase his basic wage as well as improving potential bonuses.
Jesus has five goals in six appearances for City in all competitions so far this season.
